Terms and conditions
These terms set out the rules for using the restauracjaparkszwajcaria.pl website, including the booking and contact forms, and the rules for booking a table, an event and a guest room. We make them available free of charge, and you can download, save and print them before sending a form.

1. General provisions
- The service provider and owner of the site is FHU Sabo Bogdan Szamburski, operating Park Szwajcaria Restaurant, ul. Łabędzka 4F, 44-100 Gliwice, referred to below as the Restaurant.
- Contact: kontakt@restauracjaparkszwajcaria.pl and the phone numbers listed on the Contact page.
- The Site means the restauracjaparkszwajcaria.pl website together with all its pages. The User means a person using the site.
- Using the site means accepting these terms. Anyone who does not accept them can contact us by phone or in person at the restaurant.
2. Services provided electronically
The Restaurant provides the following services on the site, all free of charge:
- making content available: information about the venue, the menu, descriptions of the halls and rooms,
- a table booking form,
- an event enquiry form,
- a guest room enquiry form,
- a general message form,
- making offers available as PDFs to view and download.
The agreement for services provided electronically is concluded when you enter the site or start filling in a form, and ends when you leave the site or send the form. Using a form does not require creating an account.
The site does not sell online. We do not accept payments or delivery orders through the site.
3. Technical requirements
To use the site you need a device with internet access, an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled and, for the forms, a working e-mail address or phone number we can reply to. Opening the offers requires a PDF reader. The Restaurant is not responsible for interruptions caused by faults on the side of the user's internet provider, nor for the consequences of using out-of-date software.
Using the internet carries the usual risks, such as malicious software. We recommend keeping your device's protection up to date.
4. Rules for using the site
- Supplying unlawful content is prohibited.
- The data you enter in a form should be true. A booking made with false details, or with someone else's details without their knowledge, does not bind the Restaurant.
- Using the forms in an automated way, sending bulk submissions and any action that disrupts the site are prohibited.
- The Restaurant may refuse to handle a submission that breaches these terms, is obviously untrue or is spam.
5. Table bookings
- Sending the form is a booking enquiry, not a booking. The automatic confirmation on the site only means your submission reached us.
- A booking takes effect only once the Restaurant confirms it by phone or e-mail. That confirmation is what binds both sides.
- We confirm bookings during the restaurant's opening hours where possible. For the same day or the next few hours, please call us instead, as it is faster.
- Please cancel your booking if your plans change. A phone call or a reply to the confirmation message is enough.
- If you are running late, please let us know. We try to hold the table, but when we are busy and cannot reach you it may be released.
6. Events and functions
- A form concerning a wedding, First Communion, christening, funeral reception or corporate event is a request for an offer. It does not reserve a hall or a date.
- The terms of the event, meaning the date, menu, number of guests, price and method of settlement, are agreed individually and confirmed in writing or by e-mail. Only such arrangements are binding.
- Reserving a date for an event may require a deposit. Its amount, the payment deadline and the refund rules are given when the booking is confirmed, before any payment is made. Article 394 of the Polish Civil Code applies to the deposit, unless the parties agree otherwise.
- Please confirm the final number of guests by the deadline agreed at booking. We accommodate later changes where we can.
- The PDF offers published on the site are for information only and do not constitute an offer within the meaning of Article 66 of the Polish Civil Code. Prices and scope are confirmed individually.
7. Guest rooms
- A room enquiry form is a question about availability, not a booking. A booking takes effect once the Restaurant confirms it.
- Check-in and check-out times, payment rules and cancellation conditions are given when the booking is confirmed.
- The prices shown on the site are indicative per night and may vary depending on the dates and the number of guests. The binding price is given in the confirmation.
- Guests are liable for damage caused in the room and in shared areas under the general rules of the Polish Civil Code.
8. Complaints
A complaint about the site, a booking or a service can be made by e-mail to kontakt@restauracjaparkszwajcaria.pl, by phone or in writing to the Restaurant's address. Please describe the problem, give the date it happened and your contact details.
We reply without undue delay and no later than 14 days from receiving the complaint. A consumer who disagrees with our position can seek help from the municipal or district consumer ombudsman, or apply to the voivodeship inspector of the Trade Inspection for out-of-court resolution of the dispute.
9. Personal data
How personal data is processed, who receives it, how long it is kept and information about cookies are set out in our privacy policy, which supplements these terms.
10. Copyright
The content of the site, including descriptions, the menu, photographs of the venue and its interiors and the trade marks, is protected by law and belongs to the Restaurant or is used under rights we hold. Copying and publishing it in whole or in part without our consent is not permitted. Permission to use the materials, for example in an article or a guide, can be obtained by writing to the address given above.
11. Final provisions
- Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Act on providing services by electronic means.
- These terms neither exclude nor limit consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
- The Restaurant may amend these terms for important reasons, for example a change in the scope of services or in the law. Amended terms are published on the site together with the date of the update. Bookings confirmed before a change are governed by the terms in force on the date of confirmation.
- These terms apply from 2 August 2026.
12. Language of this document
This text is a translation of the Polish-language terms and conditions. In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the Polish version, available at /regulamin/, prevails. The service provider operates in Poland and is subject to Polish law.
