About us
A place unlike the others: exceptional food and the quiet of the park, in the heart of Gliwice.
Park Szwajcaria, then still called Schweizerei, opened on 12 May 1926. The people of Gliwice would walk here along the avenue by Kościuszki Street to escape the city for an afternoon: an orchestra in the pavilion, children among the trees, dozens of guests at tables on the terrace.
Then came the years of neglect: the ponds overgrew, the terrace disappeared, the concerts fell silent. But the trees, which still remember Balthasar von Larisch's eighteenth-century garden, lived to see the day Szwajcaria came back to life.

Where Szwajcaria began
The little bridge between the ponds stands where it always stood. Ducks swim among the water lilies. The present building went up in 2015, and we are adding the next chapter to that story, with you at the table.

Silesian-Polish, with a note of the Alps
We serve a varied Silesian-Polish menu with Swiss touches. We keep adding regional dishes suited to the season and to the holidays as they come.
What matters most to us is sharing our guests' important moments. Thanks to the atmosphere and our manager's personal approach, everyone feels at ease and looked after.
With the youngest in mind
We have not forgotten the youngest guests: a playground and a separate children's menu are waiting for them.
